Elle ne porte aucun papier d'identit. Personne ne la connat. Les enquteurs apprennent bientt que la victime, Mgane Savary, tait en contact avec un repris de justice et qu'elle avait effectu ce plerinage il y a cinq ans. Certains se demandent pourquoi Mgane Savary tait revenue Saint-Guilhem-le-Dsert. A-t-elle voulu rattraper les erreurs de son pass.
